Exceptional vintage from the family's ancestral reserve. The Frapin House has been established in the heart of the Grande Champagne region, Premier Cru of the Cognac region, since the 13th century. The Extra comes from the family ancestral reserve of the House, exclusively harvested, distilled and aged at the Chateau... Beautiful mahogany color with warm copper reflections. In the nose : supple, complex and evolving with subtle notes of candied fruits such as Ente plum or Crete apricot, leather, musk mixed with the scent of cedar of Lebanon cigar boxes typical of old Grande Champagne with a very long finish, a proof of its very long aging. The mouth is round, mellow, rich, greedy and its length exceptional, the flavors melting with subtlety and complexity. A rare, limited edition, presented in a numbered decanter with a sumptuous box.
