The only Cognac entitled to the Chateau appellation in Grande Champagne. Frapin Chateau Fontpinot XO comes from very old reserves, bottled exclusively at the Chateau. History: Chateau Fontpinot XO is the only first growth Chateau to have the appellation 100% Grande Champagne of international renown. Entirely harvested, distilled and aged on the family estate, this proprietary cognac benefits from the very rare appellation Château. Its distillation with lees, followed by a slow and patient aging in dry cellars, gives it the special character of one of the oldest reserves of the castle. Color : This XO cognac is revealed and distinguished from the outset by its silky robe with warm, golden, slightly coppery reflections. On the nose: This Trésor du Château is the result of a long ageing process, particularly in dry cellars, which gives it a subtle, complex, fine and persistent bouquet, composed of candied fruit aromas (dried apricot, dried fig), almond paste and hazelnut. The mouth is balanced, rich and complex with aromas of dried fruits, candied fruits, and an exceptional length. Elegantly dressed with a round cognac colored box.
