Gosset 12 ans de Cave Rosé

Description

A Rosé that mainly expresses the qualities of red wines. In search of the luminous glow of chalk, Chardonnays are selected from various crus where chalk outcrops in Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne and Côte des blancs. Ageing is particularly long, with a minimum of 12 years in the cellar. La robe is coppery with rose-gold highlights. The first nose is characteristic of a fruity Champagne Rosé with lovely jammy notes of strawberry and dried fig. After aeration, numerous spices make their appearance, such as black pepper and hawthorn, accompanied by kirsch and burlat cherries. The attack on the palate is lively and fresh, recalling citrus aromas such as pink caviar lemon, blood orange and calamondin. A cuvée as Rare complex as it is complex, which will accompany eXOtic dishes such as duck lacquered with orange, caramelized ribs or tajine with almonds and apricots.
