Château Pontet-Canet 2011

Description

The dress is almost jade black. On the nose as well as on the palate: an immense palette of small black fruits such as the black cherry from Itxassou in the Basque country, blueberry, jammy blackcurrant cream with fine hints of liquorice, vanilla, violet and wood. The tannins are finely acidic to pleasure with an exceptional roundness in the mouth, all guarantees of long keeping. A wine with ageing potential around 2045 but also very good to taste now. The bottles will be kept lying down, protected from light and noise, with a hygrometric degree of about 70%.
