Description
This extremely rare Cognac comes from a family of winegrowers based in Angeac-Champagne. It comes from a very old stock, distinct from the estate stock, whose lots are Rareonly offered for sale, and always confidentially. It aged for many years in a small clay cellar, before joining the cellars of Grosperrin. Amber color, dark highlights. Nose of very old Grande Champagne with remarkable freshness for its age. Lots of finesse and complexity. Candied fruit and exotic wood dominate. Rancios in balance, taut and delicate at the same time. No heaviness. The nose is inviting, immediately distinguishing that this is a racy Cognac. On the palate, the attack is straightforward, oily, complete : soft tannins, chiseled aromas. The finish is slightly dry, very long, with a slight mark of acidity. A very good Cognac, for collectors.
