Inspired by the limited-edition To Ki To Sports Jacket – a sought-after silhouette made popular worn by Daniel Craig’s character in the 2012 James Bond film, Skyfall – the Barbour Beacon Sports Jacket operates on pretty much an identical blueprint, minus the hood and storm flap of the To Ki To iteration. Structured in a traditional blazer design with the hardy, practical properties of a classic waxed jacket, the garment offers a stand-up collar that can be folded down - depending on personal preference - and worn with its lapels visible. A throat tab also features with a central button closure following up. Neither light or bulky, the jacket falls on a mediumweight scale and comes crafted in 6oz sylkoil waxed cotton – Barbour's longest-standing wax cotton. The employment of this fabric means that the piece is rich in colour and superbly durable, plus it’s water-resistant; meaning the tricky British weather will feel more like a breeze rather than an obstacle.
