A detachable hood adds an extra element of protection, while wrist gaiters and adjustable drawcords minimise the entryway for wind and rain.  Other handy features include a micro ripstop lining for durability, a windproof powder skirt, a ski-pass pocket to the left arm, pockets both internally and externally, and a two-way zipper with dual storm flap closure.
